Care Instructions

Your heels have been crafted from the finest leathers. Whether selected in velvety suede or supple smooth leather, these natural materials require proper handling to maintain their beauty and shape over time.

1. General Leather Maintenance

  • Storage Rituals: When not in use, store your shoes in their provided dust bags. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and artificial heat sources, which can fade color and dry out the leather.

  • Preserve the Shape: To prevent creasing or collapsing, we recommend inserting shoe trees or stuffing the toe box with acid-free tissue paper between wears.

  • Rest Periods: Fine leather needs to breathe. Avoid wearing the same pair for consecutive days to allow any absorbed moisture to dissipate naturally.

2. Material-Specific Care

Depending on the finish of your shoes, please observe the following:

  • For Suede: Suede is characterized by its soft, raised fibers (the "nap"). To maintain this texture, gently use a soft-bristle brush or a dry sponge to remove surface dust. Always brush in the direction of the grain to keep the finish uniform.

  • For Smooth Leather: Clean gently with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to remove impurities. For long-term care, you may apply a high-quality leather conditioner sparingly to keep the material supple and lustrous.

3. Protection & Weather (Suggested)

  • Protective Sprays: While your shoes are crafted for durability, we suggest applying a high-quality, material-specific protective spray to repel water and dirt. This is optional but can significantly extend the life of the finish, particularly for lighter colors.

  • Water & Moisture: Leather is permeable and sensitive to water. Avoid wearing luxury heels in rain or snow.

    • If they get wet: Blot immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth. Never use a heat source (hairdryers, radiators) to dry them, as this will damage the leather structure. Allow them to air dry naturally.

4. Abrasive Surfaces

Luxury leather soles and heel coverings are delicate. Please be mindful of walking on gravel, uneven cobblestones, or metal grates. Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces that may scratch or scuff the leather finish.
